When I was in 5th grade, I learned a really cool song about the the United States.
It started out something like, "50 nifty United States from thirteen original colonies..."
I loved that song, because it actually helped me to remember all of the states!
To this day, that song still chimes in my head whenever, I can't remember the name of a specific state.
